Hand-poured natural tea-light candles, beautifully yellow in colour from the unrefined rapeseed grown and pressed locally in the Peak District. On lighting they emit a warm, golden flame and a cosy glow making them a wonderful scent-free and vegan alternative to beeswax and a cleaner option than petroleum/paraffin candles.

Tea-lights use rapeseed that is grown and cold pressed on a family farm in the Peak District less than 20 miles down the road from the Essence + Alchemy garden laboratory. The rapeseed is grown as a break crop*, nourished by the mineral rich spring water of the ‘White Peak’. By using locally grown rapeseed, the candles can help support local farming and bee populations that pollinate the crops. (The farm also has 5 beehives). The rapeseed is GMO free, grown sustainably and without the use of pesticides.
